I'm Speaking!

We knew it was coming. It was not a matter of if or whether. It was a matter of when.
What am I speaking about? The sexist, personal, thinly veiled racial attacks that are the lynch
pins of the Republican repertoire that not just America, but the world has come to know.
We have been down this road before. We don’t have to do a revisionist history of unfair,
biased treatment of people in this country. We can simply start with former president Barack
Obama and move forward to presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Donald John Trump was out of control regarding both of these then candidates. Race and
birthplace was a factor with President Obama; gender and intelligence coupled with strength was
Ms. Clinton’s cross to bear with the serpent tongued Trump.
Trump used his own deep-seated insecurities, flowing like a river of hatred, to discredit,
undermine and outright lie about both President Obama and candidate Hillary Clinton.
He constantly threw out his rotten red meat to his snarling base to incite them. It is no
different than what he did up to and including the January 6th insurrection. Many of the raging
people did not know why they “hated” Hilary Clinton. I realized this from listening to so many
people talking about her, who knew little to nothing about her.
And please. Don’t get it twisted. It is not just males beating the drums of gender hatred.
There is a large segment of women who are haters of female accomplishments. You cannot
pretend that you don’t see the jealousy and mean spiritedness exhibited by women towards
women.
You see it on a daily basis. It is not just in politics. You see it in churches, or
organizations, (both social and professional), education venues, the workplace, and countless
other places.
What do I attribute this to? Deep seated insecurities. It is hard to look at someone who is
fulfilling their dreams while you are still struggling with your own lack of fulfillment and
diminished self-worth.
There is that inner devil that makes the person believe that another woman’s
achievements causes a comparison that makes the hater look lesser or underachieved in the eyes
of others, particularly a spouse.
Too many women find it easy to join in the female gender bashing. They believe that
they gain acceptance, respect and praise that they sorely desire. Just look at the women that
Republicans push forward. I simply offer Majorie Taylor Green and South Dakota Governor
Kristi Noem who bragged in her book about “shooting her dog.” She further lied about a
“meeting with dictator Kim Jong Un, canceling a nonexistent meeting with French President Macron, and an imaginary threat from fellow Lady Republican Nikki Haley.” Do you believe
that all of this was to impress women?
You can certainly see why Trump was quoted as saying “…she is somebody that I love.
She is a supporter of mine and I’ve been a supporter of hers a long time.” Really? She was once
on his list of possible Vice Presidents. She still will not shut up. Hand still in the air saying pick
me for something. Liars love liars and hatefulness.
Donald John Trump’s visit to the National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ)
Convention to curry favor with African Americans was outrageous! How dare he appear before
people who are much smarter and haul out the oldest divide and conquer trick in the book! How
dare they not mount a serious challenge to his racist misogynistic utterances!
Dear God. This is as old as the history books. It truly shows his ignorance of history, the
black community, and people in general. He seems not to be able to overcome his obsession
with race and color.
There are a great many biracial people in the world. Trump continuously attempts to
debase people of color, as he spray tans himself orange, with a hatred for people who are
naturally tanned.
It was so despicable to attempt this plantation method of let’s turn Black people against
each other. Let’s tell them Kamala Harris has been “passing.” “She has become Black when it
became an asset “or convenient.”
He claims he “did not know that Vice President Harris was Black until 3 years ago.”
What a liar. We won’t repeat what he said about an obvious winner on his now defunct
“Apprentice” show, who happens to be African American.
There is going to be a lot more that we as a voting public will have to endure. We cannot
be dissuaded or put in fear.
What we must do is get busy, get registered, and get ready. We must, “…be strong in the
Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10,11.

Ms Spearman is a voice of reason in a season of political madness in these United States. To have elected Donald J Trump in 2016 was a dreadful mistake; he was a shiny and unknown candidate then; but now his supporters shall not be given the benefit of ignorance as an excuse again. He has proven who he is. Returning to his “flock” in 2024 cannot be excused again. They are standing up as enemies of our Republic, and I shall see them all as seditious sheep henceforth.
Such a fabulous speech!! You motivate me constantly!!
Go girl!! You keep us motivated and energized!
