Unfit - A cause to be frightened

I will start with the bottom line. Donald John Trump is unfit to hold the office of president of this country. Mini-Me J.D. Vance is similarly unfit to hold the office of vice president of this country.
When you take a hard look at a person who is a heartbeat away from leadership in America, there is cause to be frightened.
Aside from disparaging women, J.D. Vance is willing to sell his soul to the devil for power and fame. How could the American people ever trust anything that he would ever say when he is so willing to lie to the world about a whole group of people, and say he will continue to lie to get the attention of the press?
Because the descriptive word unfit is used loosely, I offer the three definitions that are offered by Merriam-Websters Advanced Learners English Dictionary (2008). You can decide which definition that you believe suits the MAGA Republican candidates.
The first, usually the prevailing definition is “not proper, suitable, or acceptable.” The second is “not having the necessary qualities, skills, mental health, etc. to do something.” The third definition is “not physically healthy: not in good physical condition. [out of shape].”
A recent report says that Vance was caught on camera thanking the leader of Project 2025. One of the leaders, John McEntee reportedly said that the project has made him “rethink the 19th Amendment.” Who do the participants in drafting an un-American plan for America think they are?
They are not elected by the American people to dictate the governance of this country. No person who plots outside of government leadership should be allowed to set policy that affects all Americans as Donald John Trump intends to do.
MAGA Republicans may think Donald John Trump is it, as he came to Alabama for a football game that he left before halftime but had enough time to toss chicken fingers as they grasped like hungry animals behind a rope as he threw.
Non MAGA people were not impressed. It reminded us of Trump tossing paper towels to the citizens of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria devastated the island in 2017.
This, after he blocked aid to Puerto Rico after the Hurricane and threatened to withhold aid from California for wildfires. Kevin Carroll, a Trump administration Homeland Security official, wanted Trump to withhold disaster relief funds from Democratic states.
All of this as he parades Elon Musk, whom he called “Leon” several times at a rally, in our faces, as Trump behaved like he was presenting an American hero whom Americans should adore. Well, we don’t. He is a South African who wants to join Trump in controlling what happens in America. He is still another who believes that being wealthy gives you the right to do and say as you please.
Politicians are who they surround themselves with. The possible Trump cadre of people are in no way fit to take over American governance and take us back in time. All of the promises being made can never be kept. We have a system of government that provides checks and balances. If Donald Trump and his menagerie of MAGA Republicans are allowed to take over the government, there is virtually no one to check him and his dark plans. Another dark chapter in the Trump playbook has emerged. This chapter could be titled “American Women Know Their Rights.” This is precisely why women in American garnered their strengths, and joined with each other to fight, and march for the right to vote, equal pay for equal work, and a now shattered Roe vs. Wade.
American women have realized for a very long time what they have to do. And then, “along came a spider and sat down beside her.”
Democratic women, Republican women, independent women, uncommitted women, American women. Do not be fooled by the latest ploy hatched by MAGA Republicans and their guru, Donald John Trump. Mrs. M. Trump is very simply part of this pathetically familiar part of a playbook that undermines women, and really echoes the negative Trumpian cries that “women are stupid, dumb.” You don’t have to be a “genius” like Trump to see through the timing and release of memes sent out by M. Trump to garner attention for her memoir that Keziah Weir reviewed as “truly bad.”
M. Trump is no spokesperson, or symbol for women and the pro-choice movement. M. Trump sent an early meme out accusing the media of being concerned about her nude pictures (allegedly taken on Trumps raggedy plane). Here she comes again with her “stand on a woman’s right to manage her own body.” From 2016 until now, this woman has not uttered one sentence in defense of women’s rights nor the January 6th insurrection.
Remember she wore a jacket to a major event that said, “I really don’t care, do U?” She showed us over a period of years who she is, and we believe her. Much to Donald Trump’s distress, America does not love his wife any more than they love him. He is the only person peddling these lies along with his “genius” and other people’s dumbness, while trashing American cities from Baltimore, Maryland to Detroit, Michigan. Here is what Fred Trump III said in his book; All in The Family, “The Trumps and How We Got This Way (2024).” “Hard charging Donald, the one most like their father, whose ferocious ambition and drive had to compensate for a lack of compassion, (lack of) subtlety, and (lack of) book smarts.”
None of this flailing group should occupy the White House and believe that they can simply run over the over 81 million people who did not want them again in 2020.
