Real talk

First of all, a 74 million vote win against a 72 million vote win is not a mandate as used
in politics, nor is it a landslide. I know, a win is a win. But it is important for non MAGA
people to keep wins in proper context as people in America move forward.
W know the penchant of MAGA Republicans to make anything greater than what it is
that involves numbers or anything else involving the MAGA Republicans.
The latest census information has America’s population at roughly 346,088,900 million
people. According to Statistica Research Dept., 161.42 million of that population are registered
voters.
That means a total of those voting in the 2024 election at this writing is roughly 146
million people. This would numerically say that of those registered voters, some 15 million
people that could have voted did not vote.
Non MAGA people have to keep real talk and real numbers in mind, because they will be
overwhelmed with talk of “a victory never seen before,” and a president-elect who will never be
truthful about anything. It is incumbent upon each individual to know real facts and keep your
eyes to the sky.
Remember, President Joe Biden had the largest percentage of the popular vote with 81
million votes, for any president, since 1932. If you look at the numbers from 2020, Donald
Trump had 74 million. It appears that the same 74 million were filling themselves with hate and
vitriol until another chance to vote for Trump came again.
Pundits and phony journalists can say what they like. The Republican party is no longer
in existence. The party has been overtaken by MAGA Republicans who spit hatred,
divisiveness, discord, and unfairness.
A country that has a population of some 346 million people should have more than 164
million registered voters. This taking into account those under the age of 18. What has
happened to the American interest in “one man, one vote,” civics and American government?
I for one believe that the hatred and mean spiritedness that starts with adults, discourages
an interest in public service and public affairs in younger people.
So what does any of this mean? Non MAGA people have to get back to work and get
busy. State and local organizations have to connect and rally around a common purpose.
Voters will weigh in in 2 years at 2026 midterms. It is obvious that the entire country is
not sold on Donald Trump and the MAGA minions.
Don’t allow yourself to be beat down by MAGA Republican rhetoric and lies. Do not
believe that you have lost any individual rights with a “wanna be dictator,” and his motley crew.
Non MAGA people are extremely sad and feel clouds all around. As I have spoken with
many people since Nov. 5, people express that the sadness that they feel comes from seeing who
won and will take office. They are handling that Vice President Kamala Harris was not
victorious. She fought the good fight in less than 100 days.

restrict or demean your spirit unless you agree to it.” “Checklist for Life for Women,” 2002.
In the chapter, Beyond Fear, there is a reminder of a haunting image of a single unarmed
student standing up to a battalion of Chinese tanks – an unforgettable picture of free choice.
Everything can be taken away from anyone but one thing, the last of human freedoms – to
choose ones attitude in any set of given circumstances to choose ones own way.
The reference is 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV: God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power
and of love and of sound mind.
